Is your hardware solid brass, or is it plated?

Every piece of our hardware is solid brass. Even our stable finishes like Matte Black and Satin Nickel are applied directly to a solid brass foundation. This ensures a substantial feel and lasting durability, creating hardware that endures for generations.

Can I order finish samples or see your hardware in person?

We do not have showrooms at this time, and individual finish samples are not available for general retail orders. Finish samples are available exclusively through our trade program. To evaluate the material and finish before committing to a full order, you may purchase a single switch plate or accessory — our return policy allows you to assess it in your space.

Our living finishes, Aged Brass and Antique Brass, are designed to develop a unique patina over time; a gentle wipe is sufficient, or you can apply a crystalline wax like Renaissance Wax to stabilize their current character. Do I need a licensed electrician to install your electrical hardware?

Yes, Metal Workz strongly recommends professional installation by a licensed electrician for all electrical hardware. This ensures proper wiring, adherence to local electrical codes, and safe operation. Our UL & cUL Listed switches and outlets are built for lasting performance, but correct installation is critical for safety and functionality. What is your return and exchange policy?
